- PTGui: panoramic image stitching software. I used it from approximately 2016 to 2018. https://www.ptgui.com
- Pano2VR: virtual tour software. I used it from approximately 2016 to 2018. https://ggnome.com/pano2vr/
- PowerGREP: Windows grep tool similar to the Linux “grep” command, can quickly search through large numbers of files, including text. I used it in my doctoral dissertation from 2024 to 2025. https://www.powergrep.com
- Foxtrot Search: full text searching tool on macOS. Usage duration: Same as above. https://foxtrot-search.com
- FoxitReader PDF Editor: I use it to perform OCR on my Japanese materials during my doctoral dissertation from 2024 to 2026.
- ABBYY PDF Editor: Also perform OCR on Japanese or other language materials. Usage duration: Same as above.
